Things to you should know about Mongolian camel milk products

Before we talk about Camel milk products, Let’s briefly introduce camels.

1. About the origin and types of camels

Camels have been domesticated for 5000 years. There are two types of camels in the world: one-humped /Camelus Dromedarius/and two-humped/ Camelus bactrianus/. About 90% of the world's camels are sun-humped or one-humped camels, and the remaining 10% are two-humped camels.

The camel is a special animal that has been written in the history of Mongolia. Specifically, when Mongolia was founded, camels were used for long-distance migrations, and caravan use, and on those long distances, camel milk was used as an irreplaceable source of energy and nutrition.

2. Mongolian camels’ characteristics and unique adaptability

Mongolia is one of the few countries that has preserved the genealogy of two-humped camels, which are endangered around the world. In particular, Mongolia is the only place where camels are raised and milked in their natural ecosystem, the Gobi Desert. Camels are remarkably well-adapted to the ecological conditions of the harsh desert where the temperature could rise to +30℃ and drop to -30℃. They thrive on Gobi’s thorny plants. Grasses and plants of the Gobi Desert are characterized by high water and mineral content.

3. Camel milk’s benefits, usage, and various treatment

Camel milk has properties that aid the immune system and support the lungs’ function, and digestion and its probiotic nature increase the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut. In particular, camel milk’s cleansing nature could be used for flushing toxins from the system. For example, a sick child is given antibiotics, and after treatment, the chemical remnants could be excreted from the body with the assistance of milk.

It also has many benefits such as immune support, anti-tumor properties, diabetes treatment, internal organ cleansing, beneficial bacteria support, and digestive aid.

4. Delivered straight from the herders to your hand

TESO Group's "Mongolian camel" project team collects milk from the camel herders of Khanbogd Soum, Umnugobi (which is located 800km away from the factory) province within 48 hours through the cold chain system. The cold chain starts with fresh camel milk that is collected from the camel herders, then it is immediately frozen in a solar-powered freezer, where it is prepared to be transported to Khanbogd soum center city by a specialized vehicle. Once at the collection facility, the processed milk will be flown to the factory, ensuring no loss of storage conditions or changes in the quality of milk.

5. Why should you choose Mongolian camel products?

Mongolia is one of only two countries in the world with the largest number of two humped-camels. Since ancient times, Mongolians have not given their camels additional fodder and forage. The camels only go to the pastures and feed on natural herbs, that have many medicinal properties and are rich in vitamins, such as saltwort, caragana, and saxaul which grow from the Gobi soil. The milk that this camel produces became an irreplaceable source of multivitamins.

Simply put, milk from farm animals raised away from their natural grazing pastures and fed on feeds have many disadvantages compared to milk from animals that are grazed in their natural environments. Therefore, it has been proven that camel milk is naturally pro-biotic supports gut bacteria, and is very beneficial for digestion.
